Scope
This building is the central plant unit of Phase 1 of the Tallaght District Heating Scheme. The project utilises waste heat from an adjoining Amazon data centre to provide low carbon heat to public buildings. It was the first such system in use in Ireland.
Crannog installed a bespoke roof and cladding system, consisting of interlocking diamond shingle cladding in a beautiful interlocking design, incorporating exterior lighting, ventilation louvres and specialist access doors.
